AMED - Seeking casual and full-time Paramedics and EMTs

AMED EMS, based out of Altoona, Blair County, PA is currently seeking casual and full-time Paramedics and EMT’s. We are a municipal ambulance authority that provides 911 response and non-emergency transport services to the majority of Blair County and the surrounding areas. We operate five stations and respond to an average of 16,000 calls per year. We are looking to hire motivated and professional providers. Eight (8), ten (10), twelve (12), and sixteen (16) hour shifts available. We offer higher than competitive wages and benefit package. We have no residency requirements.

The incumbent minimally requires one of the following: certified as a First Responder by the Commonwealth of PA, registered by The American Red Cross as an Emergency Responder, hold a FACTS card from the American Heart Association or have successfully completed an equivalent course of study. The incumbent must have completed a CPR course, meeting the Emergency Cardiac Care Committee Nation Conference on CPR and Emergency Cardiac Care standards. The incumbent must hold a valid CPR card. Oil City Fire Department - Firefighter-EMT/Paramedic - The City of Oil City is currently seeking applications for the position of part-time firefighter with future full-time employment possible.

Applicants must meet the current certification requirements of the Civil Service Commission including:
