Job Description
Location: Sharon Regional Hospital
This temporary EMT/MOA position works collaboratively with the hospital and the Emergency Room to primarily perform COVID 19 screenings for patients and guests entering the hospital, and assists with emergency room procedures. Performs patient care activities within the scope of licensure and training as needed. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of a patient; possess the ability to identify each requirements relative to his or her age specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the unit’s policies and procedures and skills check lists.
• Requirements: Certification of either an EMT, EMT-A, PA DOH First Responder, or MOA.
• CPR First Aid Certification. Background clearances as required.

We operate five stations and respond to an average of 16,000 calls per year.
